Job Summary:
Build a strong audit and compliance environment and ensure zero level fraud, improved value for.money and practice counselling, advisory and decision support services to audit function in the country.
Requirements:
First degree in Accounting, Banking or Finance or related discipline.
Masters and or Professional qualification in accounting eg. ACA, ACCA, CPA (T)
Minimum of three years of cognate experience in the banking indusrty.

UBA Tanzania, a renowned banking and financial services institution in the East African nation of Tanzania, is now recruiting an Internal Auditor.
In the role of Internal Auditor, the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting periodic audits of the bank’s activities to help ensure its financial health and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, the Internal Auditor will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive audit program that includes identifying and assessing key financial, operational and compliance risks. Additionally, the auditor will examine internal controls and recommend improvements in processes and procedures to reduce risk and enhance the effectiveness of the organization’s internal control environment.
The ideal candidate for this role must possess a Bachelor of Accounting degree and have at least five years of experience in an internal audit role, as well as knowledge of Tanzanian banking regulations. Candidates must also have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to confidently present audit findings and recommendations to management.
