Opportunities for Internship Program (m/f/x) -Dar Es Salaam,Tabora and Kigoma Region
Enabel is the Belgian development agency. It implements Belgium’s governmental cooperation. The agency also works for other national and international donors. With its partners in Belgium and abroad, Enabel offers solutions to address pressing global challenges – Climate Change, Urbanisation, Human Mobility, Peace and Security, Economic and Social Inequality – and to promote Global Citizenship. With 2,000 staff, Enabel manages about 170 projects in twenty countries, in Belgium, Africa and the Middle East.
Background:
Enabel is operating in Tanzania as a public limited company under public law with a social purpose in accordance with article 7 (iii) of the General Agreement between The United Republic of Tanzania and The Kingdom of Belgium on Development Co-operation signed on 16th of October 2002, and the introduction Letter from the Embassy of Kingdom of Belgium N° 2018/023 signed on 25th January 2018 on the transformation from BTC into Enabel.
Enabel in close colaborations with Ministries of Water and Irrigation and Ministry of Agriculture implement Water and Sanitation Project(WASKiRP)and Sustainable Agriculture Project (SAKiRP) in Region of Kigoma.
More over Enabel implements Beekeping Value Chain Project in regions of Tabora,Singida,Katavi,Shinyanga, Kigoma and Pemba Islands.This is the European Funded Project.
Enabel introduced programs for graduates from diverse academic background to have exposure in development issues and provide opportunities for practical training.
Job description
Enabel is currently looking for Tanzanians who are dynamic, committed, suitably qualified dedicated and eager to learn and develop new experiences through assigned tasks. Therefore, the applications are invited to fill the following fields.
1. Bachelor degree in Accounting(1 position for accounting tasks in Dar Es Salaam and 1 position in kigoma region)
2. Bachelor degree in mass communications(1 position for communications duties in Dar Es Salam)
3. Bachelor Degree in statistics (2 positions for monitoring and Evaluation duties in Kigoma Region)
4. Bachelor Degree in Project Management (1 position for Project Management duties in Tabora Region)
Your profile
General Conditions:
a) Applicants must be Tanzanians; graduated between 2016 to 2020
b) Applicants must attach an up-to-date curriculum vitae (CV) having reliable contacts: postal address; e-mail and telephone numbers;
c) Applicants should indicate three reputable referees; one referee must be from academic institution where he or she graduated.
d) The maximum period for individual program is one year, no intern shall be reappointed as Enabel’s intern after completion of one year period.
e) Applicants must attach their certified copies of the following certificates
a. Degree and their respective transcripts
b. Diploma certificates
c. Form IV and form VI National Examinations certificates and
d. Attaching copies of the following certificates is strictly not accepted
• Form IV and Form VI Results slips
• testimonials and Partial transcripts
f) Certificates from foreign examination bodies should be verified by the relevant authorities. (TCU, NACTE or NECTA)
g) Presentation of forged certificates and other information is prohibited otherwise it will result into disqualification or legal action.
h) Applicants must attach a letter of endorsement from Local Government chairperson or Executive officer confirming your place of residence.
i) Internship practise is not guarantee for employment at Enabel or elsewhere, interns shall follow the laid down employment procedures as will be stipulated
j) Qualified Women will be given more consideration as compared to Men.
We offer you
Successfully and accepted interns shall not be paid salaries or any remuneration attached to salaries instead they will be assisted with some amount of money to cover for transport and lunch expenses.
