Unisa Application Dates 2022-2023
UNISA Applications are open from 11 August to 12 November 2021.
Unisa’s application window for the 2022 academic year is open now, giving first time students an opportunity to reserve their seat. Undergraduate applicants can submit their applications from 11 August to 15 October 2021. University of South Africa Unisa have announced that the 2022 application period will be open 11 August for all Undergraduate qualifications.
Deadline: Application closes on 15 October 2021 for all Undergraduates. We, therefore, encourage prospective students (Undergraduates) to apply online or paper-based application forms. ( Applications submitted after this date will not be accepted – please apply during the application cycle before the closing date to ensure your application is considered.)
UNISA Application Dates for All Qualifications:
- Undergraduate qualifications (higher certificates, advanced certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas & degrees): 11 August – 15 October 2021
- Honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas: 11 August – 15 October 2021
- Master’s & doctoral qualifications: 8 September – 12 November 2021
UNISA Late applications for 2022:
The University of South Africa (UNISA) Late application will be considered if only there are available spaces in the programmes that you want to study.
The University of South Africa offers admission to a limited number of students per programme. Therefore we would advise you to apply within the application cycle so that your application will be accepted and processed by the school.

All applications for admission must be submitted online during the prescribed application period.
Applicants who plan to enrol for classes at a Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college under the Unisa-TVET agreement may apply via the relevant TVET college or at Unisa via the online or self-help options.
Unisa will inform you of the outcome of your application. If successful, Unisa will indicate for which qualification you have been accepted and will offer you a space for the period for which you have applied ( semester 1 and 2 of 2022).
